How many people can attend my event?

Cargo Hall can accommodate 600 people for a standing (e.g. cocktail) event or up to 220 people for a seated event (e.g. dinner or presentation).

What type of corporate events can I hold at The Cargo Hall?

The Cargo Hall is an extremely versatile venue. It’s often referred to as a “blank canvas” and we can adapt it to pretty much any kind of event you can imagine, from product launches, presentations, awards dinners and ceremonies, seminars, conferences, and general meetings.

Who organises the decoration and design of the venue for my event?

The venue is available with elegant, minimalist decoration by default and our dedicated events team will be more than happy to provide you with a range of design and event options should you wish for something extra.

Can I organise team building or other specialised exercises during the event?

Yes. The Cargo Hall’s events team can assist you in arranging any activities you wish to plan.

Will there be enough car spaces for my guests?

Because The Cargo Hall is right next to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, there are literally thousands of parking spots available for your guests. We can even help with discounted parking or vouchers to make it even easier for your guests.

Can I have a total room blackout for my event?

Yes. The Cargo Hall is a very versatile venue and we can accommodate any needs, including full blackout, LED screens, specialised interior design, etc.

Do you have AV equipment and specialised AV tech people to help with my event?

Yes. The Cargo Hall can accommodate a wide range of AV requirements. Our in-house AV technician can help with all of your specialised requirements including PowerPoint presentations, sound mixing, and lighting.
